Yes, its pigmented formula gives an intense, long-lasting color; a touch-up may still be needed during the day, especially after meals. To extend the wear, apply a thin first layer to clean, dry lips, let it set for a moment, then add a light second layer if you want more intensity.

Its formula was designed to combine intense color with comfort: it contains argan oil, castor oil, beeswax and vitamin E, which help nourish, soften and protect the lips. Its creamy texture is more comfortable than a very drying matte lipstick; on especially dry lips, you can apply a thin layer of Le Baume d'Amour first and let it absorb before applying the lipstick.

Le Rouge Carmin is brighter, more luminous and classic. Le Rouge Pourpre is deeper, with burgundy and plum undertones. Carmin brings more radiance to the face, while Pourpre creates a more enveloping, sophisticated result.

For a more subtle result, dab a small amount of Le Rouge Carmin at the center of the lips, then gently blend with a finger. This gives a softer, diffused color, bitten-lip style. For an intense red, apply directly over the entire lip surface.
